Survivor of female genital mutilation rescued returned to school

We are proud to collaborate with Hope for the children organization that is making a real difference in the lives of women in the southern parts of Karamoja, particularly in Nakapiripirit and Nabilatuk districts. Their commitment to empowering women and promoting alternative livelihoods in response to climate change is truly inspiring.

One of the most touching success stories is of a brave survivor of female genital mutilation, who was rescued by this incredible organization and given the chance to return to school. Through their support, she has regained hope and is now on the path to a brighter future. This is just one example of how they are transforming lives and ensuring that vulnerable women have access to education, opportunities, and a life free from violence.
